Nourish you and your family.
Honest, science-backed nutrition for pregnancy, postpartum, lactation, and the long marathon of feeding kids. From a Registered Dietitian who's been there.
- In-network: Aetna, BCBS, Cigna & UHC
- More than 15 years of experience
- Virtual β from your kitchen table
Feeding yourself and your family shouldn't feel like a second job.
Pregnancy advice changes every week. Postpartum bodies don't snap back on command. Toddlers eat ketchup and air for a month at a time. Most moms get zero hours of real nutrition education during the years they need it most.
We're changing that, with a registered dietitian who specializes in pregnancy, postpartum, lactation, and pediatric nutrition, all in one practice.
What we actually work on.
Most online dietitians pick a lane. Kristen doesn't, because you don't. The same family needs prenatal advice in spring, postpartum food in fall, and a strategy for the picky three-year-old by next year. One person. Every stage.
Pregnancy nutrition
Eating to feel good through every trimester: energy, gestational diabetes, nausea, preeclampsia, and hyperemesis gravidarum (HG).
Postpartum recovery
Real food for healing. We focus on what your body needs to recover, not on getting it 'back.'
Eating while breastfeeding
Fuel for a milk-making body that's running on three hours of sleep. Plus support if you suspect food is affecting your baby.
Body image & food peace
Your body is in flux. We work on a kinder relationship with food and a settled relationship with the body you're in.
Starting solids
First foods, allergens, baby-led weaning, purΓ©es built around what works for your baby and your sanity.
Pediatric Nutrition
Infant and childhood feeding concerns including but not limited to infant feeding, healthy habits and feeding the family, nutrient deficiencies, food allergies, and GI and other chronic medical conditions.

What clients say
This is what working with Kristen looks like.
βKristen has changed my life over the past 6 months. She helped me make real progress towards my goals in incremental, not overwhelming, ways. Her knowledge across prenatal, postnatal, lactation, and child nutrition and allergies makes her a vital provider. I cannot recommend her more!β
βWorking with Kristen has been nothing like I've expectedβit's been so much better! Not only am I making progress with my goals, but Kristen has taught me to reframe my own way of thinking about my health journey. She validates me in the chapter I'm in now (raising a young family), reminds me to give myself grace, and helps me identify my wins and set extremely realistic goals. Kristen is the opposite of overwhelming or judgmental β she's a support that leaves me feeling good every time we meet.β
βKristen has been one of my most helpful resources during this postpartum journey! Funny, easy to talk to, non-judgmental, and motivating. We've worked on milk production, weight loss, starting baby on solids, and reducing anxiety around my toddler's dinners. I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for nutritional guidance in any phase of life.β
βOver 3 months working with Kristen on my daughter's nutrition, we've seen amazing progress and established healthier habits as a family. So many small changes that are making all the difference. Knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating β I'm so grateful I found her.β
FAQs
See answers to common questions
- Yes, many of the moms we work with have a history with dieting culture, body image struggles, or a complicated relationship with food. Kristen takes a gentle, non-diet approach focused on building a sustainable relationship with food that works for you and your family.
- We're in-network with Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, and Select Health; all Blue Cross Blue Shield variants; and the full UnitedHealth Group family (UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Oxford, and UMR). Many plans cover preventive nutrition visits. We confirm your exact cost before your first session. If you're out-of-network, we offer flexible self-pay options and accept HSA/FSA.
- Your OB and pediatrician are wonderful, but they have a few minutes per visit and limited training in nutrition. A Registered Dietitian gives you a full-length appointment focused exclusively on what to eat, why, and how, tailored to your family.
- Quite the opposite. Kristen's approach is responsive feeding: pressure off, structure on. We work with you (the parent) so meals get calmer rather than louder.
- Sessions are 60 to 90 minutes by video. We'll talk about your goals, your week, your kitchen, your kids, whatever's most useful, and you'll leave with a few specific, doable next steps. Most clients meet weekly or biweekly to start, then taper as things settle.
- Medical Nutrition Therapy with insurance billing is available in AZ, CA, CO, CT, HI, IA, IL, IN, MA, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OK, OR, PA, VA, and WI. General nutrition coaching (self-pay) is available nationwide. If you're not in a clinical state, we'll let you know and walk you through your options on the discovery call.
